I have had a fair share of failures but that has never kept me down. My path has been characterised by numerous rejections, sleepless nights and a number of attempts at the same hurdles. Most people do not know this because well, we are a society that only celebrates and acknowledges successes while shunning our failures as if they don’t exist. After reading about Failure CV’s by Melanie Stefan my mentor Dr I. S Malila challenged me to make one.
Below is my failure CV to the world, an attempt to balance the record and reflect on how my failures have made me stronger. With each fail l rise, determined and with more direction and enthusiasm. Had l given up on the first fail l wouldn’t be where l am today.
